I started with the Remington DA-307 and was impressed initially. Took it back just before 30 day trial ended. It was a good razor and cut close. The price was unbeatable at $25. It just did a very poor job under the chin and on the neck. I was having to use a blade to "touch up" under the chin and on neck. Got time consuming.

Decided to try the MS-280 which is just a step up in cost. It is a huge improvement over the DA-307. Less irritation, cuts as close or better, and does better under the chin and on neck. The foils seem to hug my face and the contours better. Also feels better in my hand. The DA-307 never felt right in my hand.

It has two seperate cutters that work independent of each other while the DA-307 has one double cutter working in tandem. I think it does a better job as a result. The MS-280 got everything the first time and I did not have to make as many passes.

It is loud! Most people seem to complain about the noise of Remington's. I could care less. I want something that will shave my face well. It does its job. The only other negative is having to charge the thing for 24 hours before first use.
