Most people who have shopped for shavers recently have come across the Braun Series 7 – either the 790cc, the 760cc or 720cc models. It’s the latest series released, after the Series 1, 3 and 5 collections.

The Braun Series 7 shaver has an ergonomically designed, sleek body that comes in elegant black and chrome or silver and chrome finishes.

The price range (retail) is $250- $290 but you should be able to pick this up for just over $200 at one of the major online retailers such as Amazon.com – If you do buy online, this shaver is great value for money and one of the main reasons it made it to my top 10 electric shavers list.

Warranty

The Braun Series 7 units come with a 2-year warranty and Braun also offer a 60-day period after buying when you can return the item if you are really not getting on with it.

User Reviews

The main negative voiced about the Braun Series 7 is that its cleaning system is very noisy on the 790cc and 760cc models (the 720cc has no cleaning system) and cleaning it thoroughly under the tap is a little more difficult than with other similar models from Panasonic and Philips Norelco.

Positive comments abound about the Braun Series 7 units, from the feel in the hand to the closeness and smoothness of the shave to the thoroughness and convenience of the cleaning system.

This shaver is not priced within everyone’s budget but you’ll find that those who have spent the extra dollars consider it money well spent, with most giving it a very high rating.
