The Panasonic Arc IV ES8243A is a distinctive chrome and blue colour with its 4-bladed head perched on top of tapering handle that allows an easy and comfortable grip. On the front of the handle is an orange-coloured LED.

The Panasonic Arc IV ES8243A shaver gets great reviews from users in more than 90% of cases; considering a lot of these are sold, that’s pretty good going.

It misses the cleaning and docking station of more expensive models, but the turbo cleaning mode under running water seems to keep it in good shape anyway. And you don’t have the extra expense of the cleaning fluid with this model.

Its main strengths seem to be the fourth finishing blade and the powerful motor which combine to produce a state-of-the-art cutting system that is difficult to beat.
