It receives 90% positive reviews and some customers have called it the closest thing to a straight blade shave.

From users, the SensoTouch 3D 1280cc/42 rates very well for the speed and the quality of its shave (closeness and lack of soreness or irritation, especially when used with gel), the low noise level, its great battery and its general ease of use. 90% of people who are prepared to spend the extra dollars for a top range model seem to be well satisfied with what they got.

It is difficult to find any real negatives about this unit, except perhaps the pop-up trimmer for sideburns etc, which has a few negative comments.
